Who It's For · Every Season

Built for people chasing financial freedom

DollarSeeds is for anyone chasing financial freedom — people getting out of debt, people multiplying what they already have, and people aiming at goals bigger than next month's bills.

It's also for people who don't want money just to fill their pockets, but to use it in a way that pleases God and blesses the people around them. If that's you, this app was built with you in mind. If it isn't, the budgeting still works — the discipline doesn't check your beliefs at the door.

What DollarSeeds replaces

  • Lack of control Money leaves the account faster than you decided it should.
  • Lack of direction No answer to "what is this money actually for?"
  • Lack of planning Every month starts from zero, and ends by accident.
  • Lack of self-knowledge No real idea where the money actually goes.

All four replaced with the same thing: financial control.

How It Works · Three Steps

Three steps, every month

  1. Log your income

Paycheck, side gig, gift, refund — log it in seconds when it arrives. Every harvest counts.

  2. It splits automatically

DollarSeeds divides each amount across your three buckets the moment you log it — no math, no spreadsheet.

  3. Track and adjust

Every expense lands in a category with a target. See what's left, catch overspending early, and adjust before the month gets away from you.

The split isn't one-size-fits-all. DollarSeeds ships three budgeting types — try them live below.

What's Inside · Real Screens

Everything you need to grow your finances

Every recording below is the real app, unedited. Hover or scroll — they play on their own.

Income · Automatic Split

Income tracking that splits itself

Every dollar that comes in gets divided across Needs, Wants, and Savings the instant you log it — using whichever budgeting type you've picked. No math, no spreadsheet, no deciding under pressure.

Tap Income, enter the amount, pick a source — paycheck, side gig, gift, bonus — and watch the split bar divide it before your eyes. Every good gift accounted for.

Expenses · Know Where It Goes

An expense tracker with real categories

Every spend lands in a category and subcategory — dining, groceries, streaming, travel — and counts against that bucket's target, so you always know what's left before you buy, not after.

Tap Expense, enter the amount, choose the category, give it a name if you want one. Ten seconds, logged, done. Plant where it counts.

Savings · Named Goals

Savings goals with targets and timelines

A goal with a name, a number, and a date gets funded; vague intentions don't. DollarSeeds turns "we should save for that trip" into a target you can watch fill up.

Open Savings, create a goal, set the amount and the deadline — the app paces you from there. Little by little, it grows.

Savings · Set Aside

Set money aside, goal by goal

Your Savings bucket fills automatically every time income splits — funding a goal is how you decide what that money is for. Each set-aside moves real dollars from general savings into the goal you choose.

Open the goal, tap Set aside, enter the amount — and when the seed finally becomes the thing you were saving for, tap I bought it.

Debt · Pay It Down

Pay off debt straight from savings

Debt payoff lives on the same screen as your goals, because getting free is one. Money you've built up in general savings can go straight at a balance you owe — and you watch it shrink the same way you watch a goal fill.

From Savings, choose the debt, enter the payment, and it's applied — no juggling a separate tracker. Freedom, funded a little at a time.

Budgeting Types · One Philosophy

Three budgeting types. One philosophy.

Switch between the 3 different budgeting types to see how each of them splits your income into expenses. Every track saves at least 20% of what you earn.

$

50/30/20 — the balanced track

Needs rent, groceries, bills 50%
$500
Wants dining, travel, lifestyle 30%
$300
Savings goals, investing, generosity 20%
$200

Whole dollars, always summing to your income — the same math the app runs.

Why DollarSeeds · Lessons

The name behind the mission

A seed is small. It requires patience, intention, and care before it ever becomes something visible. That's exactly how finances work — not through sudden windfalls, but through faithful, daily decisions that compound over time.

The name DollarSeeds comes from that idea. Every dollar you earn is a seed. Where you plant it — how you tend it — determines what grows. Spend carelessly and nothing takes root. Steward it well, and it becomes provision, security, and generosity.

The Bible speaks about money more than almost any other topic. Yet for many Christians, faith and finances remain in separate rooms. DollarSeeds was built to open the door between them — not just to budget better, but to steward faithfully. And if you don't share the faith, the discipline still holds: the app never asks you to believe anything to budget well. It reads as conviction, not a gate.

"Little by little, it grows."
Proverbs 13:11

FAQ · Straight Answers

Questions people actually ask

Is DollarSeeds free?

Yes — DollarSeeds is free to download on the App Store.

Download it, pick a budgeting type, and start logging income the same day.

Does DollarSeeds connect to my bank account?

No — DollarSeeds never asks for your bank login, and it can't see your accounts.

You log income and expenses yourself, in a few seconds each. That's a deliberate choice: logging a purchase by hand is the moment you actually feel where your money goes, and it means your credentials are never shared with anyone. Read more on our security page.

Is DollarSeeds only for Christians?

No — anyone can use DollarSeeds; the budgeting system works the same regardless of what you believe.

The app is unapologetically rooted in biblical stewardship — you'll see Scripture on the dashboard and faith-based lessons inside. But nothing is gated behind belief, and the Needs / Wants / Savings discipline stands on its own.

What are the three budgeting types in DollarSeeds?

DollarSeeds ships three budgeting types: 50/30/20 (balanced), Wealth Builder (30/20/50, for aggressive savers), and Firm Foundation (70/10/20, for tight seasons).

Every one of them saves at least 20% of your income — what changes is the balance between needs and wants. Try them in the live demo above or read the full budgeting types guide.

What is the 50/30/20 budget rule?

The 50/30/20 rule splits your after-tax income into 50% for needs, 30% for wants, and 20% for savings.

Needs are the essentials — rent, groceries, bills. Wants are the joys — dining out, travel, hobbies. Savings is the future — emergency fund, goals, investing, generosity. DollarSeeds applies the split automatically every time you log income. Full worked example on our 50/30/20 rule page.

Can I track debt payoff with DollarSeeds?

Yes — DollarSeeds lets you pay down debt using the money you've built up in general savings, right from the Savings screen.

Choose the debt, enter the payment, and watch the balance shrink the same way you watch a savings goal fill.

Is my financial data private?

Yes — your financial data belongs to you, is never sold, and the app holds no bank credentials that could be exposed.

Only what you type in is stored, and you can permanently delete your account and every record with it at any time. The plain-language version is on our security page; the legal version is the privacy policy.

Is there an Android version of DollarSeeds?

Not yet — DollarSeeds is currently iPhone-only.

An Android version depends on how the iOS app grows. If you want it, tell us — real requests are how it gets prioritized.

How do I delete my DollarSeeds account?

Open the app, go to Settings, tap Delete Account, and type DELETE to confirm — deletion is immediate and permanent.

Every income, expense, savings, and goal record tied to the account is removed. If you can't sign in, you can request deletion by email instead — full steps on the delete account page.
